We’re writing to let you know that over the weekend, we received this Order from the Chief Justice of the GA Supreme Court regarding upcoming changes to state-wide Court practices and procedures, and wanted to share this latest information with you to help you stay informed and up to date. It appears that in many counties, no changes are anticipated with regard to the filing of new eviction actions. For tenants who have (or who do in the future) requested hearings, however, Court dates will be continued or scheduled several weeks out, per the Order. In the interim, you may continue to submit new cases through our online portal, and if we hear that any Clerks decide not to accept new filings at all, we will certainly let you know.
We will of course update you once we know more, or in the event we hear new information, so that you’ll know for certain what to expect in the days and weeks to come.
We thank you for your trust and continued business.
