RE: Standard Eviction Fees
Dear Valued Client:
During 2020 and continuing into 2021, we have experienced a multitude of changes in the legal marketplace that are affecting our clients in the Rental Housing Industry, particularly as it relates to their eviction cases and the ability to file efficiently and economically. Federal, State, and Local orders have expanded the amount of work and paperwork that is required to file the average eviction case. As a result, we have devoted an increasing amount of time and expense advising clients, preparing additional paperwork, and prosecuting cases.
These efforts to provide expanded comprehensive services, however, come with a cost, and we have borne those extra costs without raising our standard fee for eviction filings throughout this pandemic year. To enable us to continue providing you with the level of quality service that you have come to expect, we need to make a slight adjustment to our standard eviction fees.
As such, starting on April 7, 2021, our standard fee for a non-payment of rent eviction filing will be increasing. A breakdown of fees for your specific property type is available on our website (see below) if you would like more detailed information.
For cases that are for reasons other than non-payment of rent, you will continue to receive specialized attention and follow up from your eviction processing team. For these types of special cases, flat-rate upcharges will apply and will be invoiced via a supplemental invoice as we have done in the past. If you have questions about those special upcharges, feel free to utilize the Cost Estimator on your specific state’s page on our website or the attached fee charts.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call or email us. We will be happy to assist you. Thank you for your business and your continued trust in us.
