Taylor Dickson, born October 7, 1992, in Gastonia, North Carolina, is a rising PGA TOUR professional whose journey to golf’s biggest state is marked by perseverance and grit. A multi-sport athlete in his youth, Dickson discovered his passion for golf in high school, inspired by teammate Harold Varner III. He went on to play collegiate golf at Winthrop University, earning two wins and a spot in the U.S. Amateur before turning professional in 2015. After years of competing on mini-tours like the Florida Elite and SwingThought TOUR, he broke through on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2023 and 2024, winning events such as the Astara Chile Classic and the Wichita Open. A third-place finish at the Price Cutter Charity Championship secured his PGA Tour card for the 2025 season. Known for his distinctive pre-shot routine and smooth swing, Dickson brings a unique rhythm to the game. Off the course, he enjoys pool, cheering for the Carolina Panthers, and spending time with this wife, LeeAnn, in their hometown of Gastonia.
