Every 20 minutes in America, someone becomes a victim of domestic violence. Loebsack & Brownlee is committed to supporting those victims and amplifying the voices that are raising awareness of this issue. Every October, Loebsack & Brownlee, PLLC launches Purple Out, our October Domestic Violence Awareness Campaign. During Purple Out, our firm offers courses to raise awareness in the multifamily industry, supports local domestic violence shelters through fundraising, and more.
Our committee has partnered with three exceptional charities operating within our geographical coverage: Safe Alliance (NC), My Sister’s House (SC), and PADV (GA). This year, we are excited to introduce a charity auction to our fundraising efforts. Each state’s respective fundraising page will feature items donated by businesses across that region. All proceeds from the auction will directly benefit the designated charity when the event concludes at the end of October.

In addition to wearing purple every Friday, each Friday will also have a theme!
Weekly Themes:
October 4th: Purple Out Pj Party: Wear your favorite pajamas in any shade of purple! Think comfy pajama sets, cozy onesies, blankets, & slippers.
October 11th: Purple Out Lua: Lua-Inspired outfits. Think Hawaiian shirts, floral dresses, grass skirts, and leis. While incorporating purple into your tropical ensemble.
October 18th: Purple Fever: Vibrant neon colors paired with shades of purple. Neon pink, electric blue, and neon green accents combined with deep purples and mauves. Think scrunchies, leg warmers, parachute pants & bold patterned shirts!
October 25th: Purple Out: Wear as much purple as possible! If it’s purple, put it on!
