Update September 18:
Brunswick County NC remains closed as the courthouse is under water. The remaining courthouses that were affected have reopened and re-scheduling of cases has begun. Please be patient as we work with the courts to reschedule affected cases.
Update September 17:
Horry County SC is now open, but the 3 original NC Counties are still closed as is Pender County, NC.
Original Post September 16:
Three North Carolina Counties (Brunswick, Columbus, & New Hanover) and One South Carolina County (Horry) have been impacted by the recent Tropical Cyclone and courts are reporting that they are closed on Monday September 16 and possibly Tuesday September 17.
PLEASE CHECK THE LINKS BELOW FOR YOUR STATE TO SEE IF YOUR COURTHOUSE IS OPEN.
If your county is/was affected, we will contact the clerks of court.
We ask for and appreciate your patience as we work through the process. We will work as expeditiously as possible, but it sometimes takes several days because the courts are overwhelmed with phone calls and communications. Once cases have been rescheduled, we will update the eviction portal and the system will send out email updates that evening.
We thank you for your continued trust and for your business.
